I am a PhD student in the Committee of Evolutionary Biology at the University of Chicago, working with Mike Coates. My research interests include major evolutionary transitions and macroevolutionary trends across mass extinctions.

Research Interests
Broadly, my research aims to understand how ancient clades responded to key innovations and massive disruptions to their way of life. Major evolutionary events such as the fin-to-limb transition, and devastating mass extinctions such as those seen at the end of the Devonian period represent the most exciting and dynamic periods of adaptation in Earth history
